Dévan Venter, Lead Engineer, PERI, based in Durban, will present ‘Considerations essential to safe temporary works design and execution’ focusing on: what is temporary works; important design considerations – support systems; importance of correct implementation on site; examples of projects, and examples of dangerous practises on sites, and how to rectify (100 minutes, and 20 minutes for questions).
